How to add friends on

This tutorial teaches you how to use your computer, phone or tablet toDiscord users are added to your personal friends list. If you know any user's unique Discord tag, you can easily send them a friend request. Once they accept your request, they are immediately added to your friends list.

Open on your computerDiscord. Discord's icon looks like a white game board with a purple circle.

Click on the upper left corner "Home" button. This button looks like a white gamepad in the purple square in the upper left corner of the application window.

Click Friends on the left menu. you canFind this option in the main menu in the upper left corner of the App window. It is listed next to the Direct Messages icon above the Direct Messages list.

Click the green at the top "Add friend" button. This button is located at the top of the "Friends" page. It will open the friend request page.

exist Enter your friend's Discord tag below "Add FRIEND". Click "Enter a DiscordTag#0000" at the top of the page and enter your friend's unique Discord tag here.

Click "Send Friend Request" button. This is the blue button to the right of the text box. It will send a friend request to the user.

Use your phone or tablet

Open on your phone or tabletDiscord app. The Discord icon looks like a white game board inside a purple circle.

Click on the three lines☰Menu button. This button is located in the upper left corner of the screen. It will open your navigation menu.

Click on the upper left corner "Home" button. This button looks like three round white number head icons. It will open your Direct Messages list.

Click on the main menu"friend". This button will be listed next to the "Direct Messages" icon above your "Direct Messages" list.

Click on the white digital avatar in the upper right corner and "+" icon. You can find this button in the upper right corner of the "Friends" page. It will open the "Add Friend" form on a new page.

exist Enter your friend's Discord tag into the "DiscordTag#0000" field. Click the text field at the top of the page and enter your friend's Discord Tag here.

Click "Send" button. This is a blue button on the right side of the page. It will send a friend request to the specified user.
