How to add friends on Viber

Viber automatically integrates with contact lists on most phones. However, you need to add people who are not yet on your existing contact list. You can do this in the Viber application.

If you want to addThe person who is a Viber contact already uses Viber, then you can pull out the person's Viper information screen and add them.

existIn Viber, open the contact information screen.

Click the Add Contact button, this isPlus sign in iOS and people with plus sign icons on Android phones.

If you do not want to use the contact name you entered in the message screen, enter an alternate name for the contact.

ClickAdd that person to your address book by clicking Save on your iPhone.

If this person is not a member yet, you can manually enter their information into your phone.

Open yourViber Contact Screen.

Click the Add Contact button, this isPlus sign in iOS and people with plus sign icons on Android phones.

Enter your personal information and phone number using international format.Including area code and international code, add a + sign before it. Viber uses a person's phone number to identify them globally.

Tap Continue or Finish.

existSelect the check mark in Android or tap Save in iOS.

If your new contact is notViber users, you will not be able to contact Viber unless you make a call using the app's paid service. This service is called Viber OUT. You first purchase a credit card for your account and make a call. If your contacts don't use Viber, invite them to do so. Browse the contact list in Viber, which provides a complete list of all Viber (and non-Viber) users. Select the user and go to his contact page. Click the Invitation button. Viber completes the rest of the work and sends an invitation to remind the person to install the app in your name.

If this person is alreadyViber users, then you should see a small purple phone badge with Viber and their Viber profile photo. Their page shows all options for communicating with contacts.

There are other ways to enterViber Contact.

Go toMore options menu on Android or iOS phones. Select Add Contact and enter information there.

Scan potential contacts forQR code, enter information into your contact list. Request your friends to open the QR code from the More Options screen. Follow the on-screen instructions to scan the QR code.

existOpen the Viber app on your Windows 10 phone and click the Add Contact button. Click the plus icon and add contact information there. You can also type a new number on your phone's keyboard and then click the plus icon to save to your Windows contact list.
