1.Open Signa

2. Next, click on your profile in the upper left corner

3. Open the settings page, swipe down and click on an option Data and Storage

4. In "Data and storage", find "media auto-download"

5. There are 3 options in automatic media download “When using mobile data” “When using wifi” “When roaming”

6. If you want to stop automatic downloading of media, click on each option and do the deselecting image, audio, video and document all options in the image below. When finished, select "ok".

If you are running Storage Spaces, you will need to manually delete all media files stored on your device by the Signal app. Disabling automatic media downloads will not delete files that have been downloaded to your phone.
